This course is designed for new and experienced bail bond agents looking to learn or improve safe firearm handling and defensive pistol skills.
Course instruction includes core marksmanship skills such as various stances and positions, sight alignment/picture, grip, draw, trigger press, equipment considerations, reloading, malfunctions, and principal use of cover. You will also be exposed to movement while shooting, tactical reloads, failure drills, and scenario-based exercises.
After successfully demonstrating these fundamentals, you will apply them under stress in practical drills.

Equipment Required to Participate

• Holster (no pocket holsters) – Outside the waistband (OWB) recommended, inside the waistband (IWB) is fine
• Magazine holster or mag pouches
• Your firearm (9mm, .40, or .45)
• Minimum of 3 magazines
• 500 rounds of ammunition
• Eye/ear protection
• A sturdy belt
